Making the right impressions at a trade show
To many times have I gone to trade shows in the mortgage industry only to leave disappointed. The biggest reason for my disappointment is that the trade show exhibits are typically done poorly for the most part. Now, do not get me wrong. Not everyone is a complete moron when they attend these events as a vendor. I have witness some booths that do it up right. However, I have seen some that look like they travel the country in a cardboard box and that is just awful.
One of the things that gets me from the beginning is the fact that some people just refuse to use table covers. it is not that you are going to eat off the table, but at least having a table cloth gives someone the ability to look professional. When I attend these events, I have a tendency to avoid the booths that do not have the covered tables.
Another area where I think people fail in the trade shows is the lack of advertisements. Now, I am not talking the traditional advertisements to get people to come see your booth. In this case, I am referring to the table top display or the larger floor models. Some of both would be the ideal situation.

It has been ages since I have been to a trade show. Well 5 years anyway. I find those things fun and very informative for the most part.

Does anybody know that this year i Vilnius will be the first International Baltic art fair. The name of fair is ArtVilnius. Where will be about 100 galerists.
Art fairs have to be one of my favorites to visit. Here in Knoxville we have the Dogwood Festival and we get all the Art we want.
